Encrypted connection
Everything you send travels over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Nobody on the network can read it on the way to us.
Your photos are cleaned
When you upload a photo, it's optimized right on your phone first, which removes hidden metadata like GPS location tags where possible before it reaches us.
Tax IDs are encrypted
Any tax ID we ever collect (like an SSN or EIN on a tax form) is encrypted at rest with AES-256 — bank-grade encryption — and the key is stored separately from our records.
Locked-down access
Only authorized Chazon Electric staff can open your file — behind a password login plus a two-factor email code.
Private, signed links
Your personal job-tracking link is cryptographically signed, so it can't be guessed, faked, or shared into the wrong hands.
We never sell your data
We use your information for one thing: checking your eligibility, filing your NYSERDA application, and doing your job. We never sell it.

Is my information safe on this site?
Yes. Every connection to this site is encrypted with HTTPS, and the most sensitive thing we handle — tax IDs — is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Your documents are stored in a secure records system that only authorized staff can open.
What happens to the photos and documents I upload?

Who can see my documents?
Only authorized Chazon Electric staff, and only after signing in with a password and a two-factor email code. We don't post your information anywhere public.
Do you sell or share my information?
No. We use it only to determine your eligibility, file your NYSERDA application on your behalf, and complete your installation. The only place your application goes is to New York State's NYSERDA program.
What if I'm not comfortable uploading a document online?
